Denny Remembered: Dennis Wilson in
Words and Pictures (Edward Wincentsen)
If you are not very familiar with the story of
the group and the background of the Wilson family, this book is
not for you. It is rather a collection of articles, views (and
reviews) of people close to Dennis Wilson, including even his
children. The author clearly expects the reader to know the background,
since not even a brief biography is included. But if you do know
your Beach Boys, this book is great. Rare pictures I haven't seen
anywhere else and very personal stories about Dennis. The man
deserved this book. However, since good reading about DW is scarce,
a little bit more background on Dennis's history would have been
a nice addition.
